We made it back to Ireland in June 2007 and added Austria and Germany to the trip(finally a chance to speak a little German after having it in H.S. and College). This was the best trip so far. We had a great time and will be back.

Above was our cabin just outside Kilfinanne. Perfect for seeing the Southwest part of Ireland. We were really out in the country but it was great.

We rented this little Nissan Micra above and I about drove the wheels off it. I was relieved to find driving on the left is not that hard. Just pay attention and you'll be fine.

This pic was taken in Kinsale. Really a nice little coastal town. Kinsale is very near where the Lusitania went down years ago after being torpedoed.

Above is an Irish dog in Kinsale that just seemed to know I'd like to buy him a pint of Guinness. Maybe he sensed I just loved dogs.:)
Nevertheless once again I come cross a dog and they sense my perhaps being part canine.:)
Is it me or is that dog smiling? The school kids behind kinda got a kick out of this all. The dog and I kinda being buddies at first sight.:)

This in on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. Holly just loves these little cozy houses that are so numberous in Ireland.
The next 3 pics are of the Cliffs of Moher. 500 foot cliffs that are indeed a cool site.

Above is Killarney national Park. Pretty indeed.

One of the best pics of the trip. Holly was crazy about the sheep all over so we stopped at Adopt-a-Sheep(http://adopt-a-sheep.ie/). Wonderful folks doing good things here. A must visit if you're nearby. I must admit the little sheep are darn adorable.

There goes Holly again. She just loves the way the Irish keep thier houses.:) This was in Adare. the village is know for it Thatched roof cottages. One of our favorite town to visit. Have lunch at The Arches cafe. A very friendly and well run place to eat.

The Rock of Cashel is above. Another site not to mis.
Now onto Austria and Germany. Below is in Salzburg, Austria. First thing we did is take a carriage ride. Why not? I've always wanted to visit Austria and will be going back for sure. What a great country.

Above are the mountains(Austrian Alps) on the way to Werfen, Austria. They have a castle there(Castle Werfen) that should not be missed.

That's the castle above and me having a obligitory brew during lunch in the castle courtyard beer garden. I told you this is a great country. Kaiser pils was very good. Steigel pils was even better.
I made a dog friend(once again) below with this Chocolate Lab. Not too hard to do with that breed. He was there for the castle and beer as well I think.

The view from the castle. The picture doesn't do it justice. Very pretty indeed.
A pic from the town of Werfen over a bridge. Bet the water is cold.
Below is another place I''ve wanted to visit most of my life. Bertesgarden, Germany. This was on the way to Obersalzburg and Hitlers Eagles nest. Talk about a clean town. Wow.

The elevators that take you up the the Eagles nest. What a piece of history.
Holly and I atop the Eagles nest. What a view. The guy was mad but he could pick a place for his summer retreat. Remarkable beauty. I'll be back!!
